This reliance on technology is ridiculous.
Go back in time. How would you do it without electricity.
You would need a board with cross stitch pattern for black squares.
You need a chess set with black and white pieces, with a thin white border around it.
You need a pair of scissors to cut out the pieces.
You need a bottle of Elmer's glue to glue the pieces on the board.
You need a pen to write instructions.
Hmm.
You can do all that electronically on PowerPoint.
I am coaching first through third graders and want a program that will allow me to layout six chess puzzles on a page with a few lines of instructions and print them out. I strongly preffer using a Mac. I've downloaded chessx but that is difficult to use for this purpose. Can anyone recommend a program that is free or very inexpensive?
