If u want ur kid to play slower-
simply drop him off at the tourney and tell him u’ll be back in 1/2 hour to pick him up, his normal playing time. u have an appointment that must be kept so no horsing around in a prolonged game.
Hes young, give him time. I played fast when I started, it's all about maturing and becoming more patient.
