502 ?? Server error. Our fault. We will look into it!

I lost a game because of this error recently also

Same here. I'm from the U.S.

Just lost a game by timeout due to this.

Not too long ago today, I was playing a bullet game, and I had a good position, but this same error occured and I couldn't finish the game. I want a rating points refund.

If the loss was due to server errors, you can contact support and they should be able to refund lost rating if the timing coincided with an outage.

whenever i click on puzzles it says 502 error. will restart even though that probably wont help but ill see. in UK btw 12/01/23 14:10

happens to me a lot. I just refresh the page.

it worked again just giving it a 5 - 10 minute break

O MY GOODNESS!!!! As soon as I pressed post it said, "Server error 502. Our fault. We will look into it!"  JUST WHEN I PRESSED POST!!!

I lost like 5 chess games to it and just as I was about to solve a puzzle the error happened

Looks like this post has been active for 3 years now, chess.com is not doing anything about it. I request everyone to ask for diamond membership refunds

error 502 USED to be a rare occurance. now i get it everyday

Constant Server errors, luckily my payment stops the 22, and then only Lichess...A chess-site that cares about players not about money.

In Romania is happening 3or4 times in a day 

Lots of these the past few days...

It's been happening a lot, it seems the servers are wildly unstable and bad.

It's primarily very high loads and staff are working on optimizations and capacity.

13:32 GMT here in the UK and the server keeps crashing.

You have no idea how hard the staff is working to fix these problems.

Lichess has no idea what it is like to handle millions of people coming on at once.

Chess.com has 448,000 going.
