I lost a game because of this error recently also
502 ?? Server error. Our fault. We will look into it!
Not too long ago today, I was playing a bullet game, and I had a good position, but this same error occured and I couldn't finish the game. I want a rating points refund.

Just lost a game by timeout due to this.
If the loss was due to server errors, you can contact support and they should be able to refund lost rating if the timing coincided with an outage.

whenever i click on puzzles it says 502 error. will restart even though that probably wont help but ill see. in UK btw 12/01/23 14:10

O MY GOODNESS!!!! As soon as I pressed post it said, "Server error 502. Our fault. We will look into it!" JUST WHEN I PRESSED POST!!!

Looks like this post has been active for 3 years now, chess.com is not doing anything about it. I request everyone to ask for diamond membership refunds

error 502 USED to be a rare occurance. now i get it everyday

Constant Server errors, luckily my payment stops the 22, and then only Lichess...A chess-site that cares about players not about money.
Happened several times today, constant Server issues, I had an 8.2pt advantage over my opponent in one game, it disconnected and for some reason I was the one given the loss, I have fibre optic broadband and my laptop is wired to it, it's literally an unbreakable connection, I never get disconneted from any other site bar this one. Yet I've seen reps from chess.com addressing the issue before and declaring, it's not us, it's a YOU problem, no it's not it really is you. Getter better tech guys.
