A new way to move the pieces? (Swype Mode)

Other than drag & drop or clicking, I suggest a new way to be able to move the pieces on chess.com.

To enable it, you first have to disable the other two methods or it won't work properly.

Basically, at the square of the piece you want to move, you hold down the mouse and don't release it until you are over the square you want to move to. I know this sounds like drag & drop, but the piece doesn't move from its square until you release the mouse. So its a sort of mix of drag & drop and clicking.

Now, this makes a world of difference.

Firstly, drag & drop is extremely awkward in bullet and during time pressure in rapid and blitz. It not just leads to mouseslips (which is a pretty serious issue), its also just hard on the eyes and difficult to use. Clicking is too slow in these situations. Misclicks are a problem too. Also, drag and drop is practically impossible on the mobile app, we all know how it is.

This new mode will fix everything. By sliding the pieces like so, you have pointer precision on which square to drop them. This seriously reduces mouseslips and misclicks and is very satisfying to use too. It works even better on the mobile app since you have touch on.

This is very similar to the Swype mode they have on Samsung mobile keyboards. I think we can name it that too. It could be turned on or off in the settings. There should be some kind of animation/transition of course but I leave that up to the developer's creativity.

Any thoughts people?

PS: I noticed that "Swyping" seems very similar to drawing arrows (except with the left mouse button ofc). It could be a nice symmetry between the two things. We've seen Hikaru draw arrows like crazy, now he can premove like crazy as well.
