Allowing to continue game after time expires?

After defeating my opponent due to his time expiring I wished we could just continue the game. It was still not clear who the winner would be and was indeed a great game. So I was thinking why not have an option/button, after his/her time expires, that allows you to decide whether the game continues (victory granted or rescind the win due to time expiration) or just end the game and get the win. Just a thought! What do you guys think? Cheers!
Mehh seems like a drag. There's increment you can play with if you want which also basically allows you to continue the games for quite some time which seem forever enough to me lol.
