Any thoughts on a Chesscom Branded Android Tablet?

I play all my games using a 10 inch Android tablet and I think the Android chess app is a Killer Application for this size hardware platform.  A Killer Application is an app that can increase the sales of the platform on which it runs, like a Video Game Console.

Maybe a Chesscom Branded 10 inch Android Tablet, with Wi-Fi, and preloaded with the chess app, could be marketed and used exclusively for playing chess at chess.com? Any thoughts?

I think most people prefer unlocked devices they can add whatever apps they like.

My thoughts were that it would be a stripped down device with only the chess app loaded and supported so as to keep the cost under $100. It would be used like a Chesscom Game Console only.

Let me ask you @justbefair, what if I gifted you a Chesscom Branded Tablet like the one I describe here, would you use it?

What if this Chesscom Tablet included a 6 month Premium Membership, was available in all the big retail stores and cost around $100, would you buy it as a gift for someone else?

That's a nice thought but even given the fact that I really like many things about chess.com, I really don't think chess.com qualifies as a killer app, at least not the kind that would drive people to buy specific branded Android tablets.

Most people already have a phone that can run the iOS or Android apps.

Of course it would have to include a charger, and earbuds so that you could watch chess videos/lessons without disturbing anyone around you.

Oh and an included Chesscom Branded chesspawn.png travel sleeve/case would be great too, so all my chess friends would be envious!
