Attempts to start a new game failing. - Chess Forums

I've been trying to start a 3 minute chess blitz game, but it got stuck at the "Finding your opponent" window for at least a few minutes. I tried clearing my cookies, cache, rebooting my PC, reloading the page, none of these helped. The play button often just "freezes", nothing happens when I click it. If it reacts to my click, it just again gets stuck at the finding opponent window, and the "Cancel" button there is also not so quick to react to my clicks. Early thanks for any help!

Staff are looking into it. It seems to be impacting a subset of members in some time controls.

I'm having the same issue still, with 5 minute blitz, on the web browser only

Been having this issue with 20|1 for a few days now and it’s only gotten worse. Im spending more time waiting for matches to be found. Not worth waiting around for at this point.

When I posted earlier, apparently they were still working on some things. Everything should be back to normal now.

Maybe its because Most ppl have their Timer Set to 10 minutes
