Automatically keep observing the same player

Hi,

is there a way to automatically keep observing the next game, for instance of your friend, that has just finished his game? Right now you have to go back to his profile and miss the first couple of moves or either wait and try to catch him playing.

Is there a way that you stick with that player, as a viewer? I am quite astonished this doesn't just happen automatically already.

If there is no way, my feedback to the site is: please create this. This is just a basic need. Thank you.

On the chat/console in Play you can type /follow username and it should follow the member while you're in Play.

Though IMO the spectating should just automatically stick to the person you are viewing. Instead of having to know and type some obscure command every time again. 

Another beautiful example of this site's great UX and UI. 

I'm pretty sure using the option in Play by clicking their username and Follow does the same thing

Also, once you follow someone that way, if you want to watch another person, it keeps redirecting you to the first person. Yes, you can click that away, even that is not even clear. Just confusing.

Why can't this site for once just make some obvious and clear UX-UI design? Just make it so you automatically follow whoever you are spectating, until you leave. Like how is it possible to even make that so unclear and unintuitive? 

I really don't get where the money of this site goes to. At least we have cat bots now we can play. Happy to see the development team being put to good use. I should have left for lichess a long time ago.

When you spectate, it stays with those players as long as they continue playing each other. If you explicitly want to follow a specific player, you click their name and Follow. Seems like perfectly acceptable UI/UX to me. If you want to stop following, you can unfollow or follow more than one player.
