Broken daily chess

Hey, £130 per year will buy me a lot of bubble gum. And when the bubble gum I buy stops having the ability to produce bubbles for 2 months for no particular reason, I complain and my complaints are ignored, then I will consider my options because I could have bought simple chewing gum instead and saved money.

Do not misunderestimate the virtue of sugarfree bubble gum. I am informed by my human sources that it has fewer calories.

I have not as yet determined which brand is best.

I do like Cinnamon in gum.

I will bring my cans of Guinness and Gold Leaf tobacco and together we can mourn the demise of this once excellent website.

Is there no blood flavoured gum to help you vampires fight your cravings?

Looks good, but tastes like disappointment and frustration 😉

My Puritanical vegetarian Leftie lady-friend dumped me over my pipe-smoking and going to a massage therapist. She does not understand the stress-relieving nature of these pastimes of mine. I have been quite sad, because I thought she was the One, my Angel of Light... cry.png

There is no such thing as the 'one' @Grobula. Only the 'next' or the 'you'll do for now'. Such is the position of chess.com in my life at the moment. It's been a beautiful long term relationship (5 1/2 years) but recently things have got stale and it's no longer healthy for either of us.

Lower priority? To not be able to access all of the daily games you are playing?

And also to not be able to access your own games on the explorer....

I appreciate that people use this site for different things, perhaps daily chess is a tiny minority. But this is the primary reason I play here and to be frank this is just unacceptable.

I only asked about the number of games. The site prioritizes bugs and apparently that one is considered lower in priority, so higher priority bugs get worked first. It might be that there are not as many players with that many games, so not many people have reported it.

This is discrimination. According to Orwell:
"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
There was no such mess before. Instead of tech support - bureaucrats.

Indeed. I appreciate your responses Martin and what you suggest makes sense, but here is the problem in a nutshell:

1.Issues arise which are self-inflicted. Everything was working perfectly until it was decided that cosmetic changes were needed.

2.Any such issue, regardless of priority, should not be left unfixed for 2 months.

3.Nobody has any answers. The best we get are the reports back and educated guesses of an unpaid volunteer moderator. @Martin_Stahl you do excellent work and the best you can, but where are the staff?

4.Customer service here has declined terribly over the last few years. Automated responses, lack of communication, no/extremely delayed responses from help and support.

I will continue airing my frustration here until these 2 issues being discussed are fixed. It can stand as a testimony to the level of service provided.

You are so eloquent in your peeves. I think it would be a lot of fun to disappoint you.

btw I hope you stay with chess.com. You can follow my example, not pay, and merely be a parasite upon Society, contributing nothing and expecting nothing and O.K. with losing games for nonsense.

If you leave in an almighty huff, Strangemoving to another site, like lichess, you will be deprived of the company of one Grobula and for my part, who will I have to antagonize and annoy with my irrelevancies?

I was missing you and your negativity, how do you expect me to feed properly on all these sunshine-dazed, vapid mortals prating of wholesome things like their chess games and victories and such. It is slim pickings man. I just about dying here, I need a dose of unusual locomotion.

Update on my girlfriend situation, I did reach out to a chess player in Australia but she quit writing me due to my resemblance to the evil undead. I thought that was unfair but looks-ism is alive and well. I really liked her too and as a consolation did grab 10 points from her rating in bullet chess, because I am "on" today.

After I died I was no longer troubled by such unpleasantness as turds

Savage. Don't they know that the undead also have feelings? Perhaps if you adopt the 'Batman look' you will have more luck with the females...I suggest this sort of thing for your Tinder Bio:
