Change daily streak options
Yup. I may end up doing that. Still, I have been here since 2009. It seems a shame to be chased away when a fix is possible....

Streaks aren’t just for playing games but you can turn off streaks in settings. They’re still tracked though.
The point of streaks is to have activity every day and the pause feature is to allow members to miss some days and maintain a streak. It would defeat the purpose of having the feature if that was customizable.
Hello,
I understand that many people enjoy seeing their streaks when they first log in. Chess is fun and they perhaps feel like it is a sign that they are committed to their learning. I, however, need to make sure that I do not get lost in chess and pay attention to the rest of my life. Having a long streak actually feels like a sign of failure. This is my issue to deal with, and perhaps one could say that it is actually useful for me as a sign to avoid long streaks! That's fine, but it is annoying that I have to quit for two days in a row for a streak to actually end. What kind of streak is that which keeps going even when I have not played? Can you create some options regarding streaks? Perhaps it could be designed not to appear immediately upon logging in. And/or perhaps one could set how long of a pause is possible before a streak is declared over. I think it actually kind of silly that streaks continue for two days of non-play. In any event, I actually have to stay away from chess for longer than I would like in order to break my so-called streaks, and am finding myself playing chess less than I would like because I do not want long streak tallies. I am sure I am in the minority, but can you create some options for the minority of people such as myself who don't want long streaks appearing on our page upon login?
Thank you for your consideration....
