Chess.com Android app sound volume not possible to control as not use a consistent sound mode

Hello,
with Chess.con android app, when you play a game and a piece move, there is a sound that looks to use "game level sound". However, when you use the sound volume button up and down, it doesnt control the game sound but the normal sound as the game isn't in "game sound mode" at this time. So the only way to tune the sound (like to not disturb other people) is to launch another game or app that use the same sound mode, tune the sound volume then go back to chess.com app. This is annoying .... Could the app dev just let the board with the same sound mode all the time so it is possible to tune the sound easily ?
