I agree, but Lichess is even worse. I'm afraid there's no good, reliable, honest and attractive chess platform to play online nowadays.

Lichess is much better!
When my connection drops, I automatically lose the game.
This is completely wrong. I'm very disappointed with Chess.com.
And once again the same issue comes up...lag...I wonder if it was as bad in the US as it appears to be in other places would something be done about it? In 2025 how can a gaming system be so slow for some and quick for others? I have harped on looking for help for months. I have super fast internet. A good laptop and situated right next to the modem!

At least 3 times in the past weeks my screen freezes. I was about to checkmate just now and couldn’t play. Even though my points were more than my opponent I lost the game. This is beyond frustrating! Please explain and fix the issue!
The best part of this topic is that a spambot (post number 3, joan598henry) got 3 upvotes. Isn't that a bit strange?
Unfortunately, is the only option. If any investors want to get together and startup an alternative DM me.

There are different networks being traversed for different locations. Add to that each member's local network and client situation is going to be different and that can cause slowness or disconnects.

I absolutely despite this website because of its terrible functionality.
- Got disconnected to the Internet for 5s and then while everything else was able to function, the game is unable to reconnected
- Horrible system to deal with ping. Every time I was able to move in time in lichess, it would be a loss here.
- 10+0 and 15+10 are the only popular time control for rapid. And SO MANY cheaters
- UI in analysis is so convoluted with weak engine. Anytime I want a serious analysis, I have to move back to lichess again.
