Chess.com is TRASH!!!

As the title suggests this site is completly garbage. Bellow u can find some examples:

1. the amount of cheaters exeeds by huge amount the number found on similar sites

2. you are forced to play black several times in a row

3. in case u dont wanna play black, after several games cancelled you lose points.

1. Because it’s the largest chess community.

2. You got 1464 games as white, and 1438 games as black. You shouldn’t argue about this point. The system is designed to make the games in black and white equal.

3. You should play as black to improve in chess. 

You've been a member for years and played thousands of games, maybe it's not that bad after all. As for anyone cheating, I can tell you with 100% certainty that anyone caught is dealt with quickly after a player that I played was banned for cheating. Check your settings, if I recall correctly the option to play as black or white is there as is the option for either colour.

The option to choose whether you arewhite or black is only for unrated games.

Just for the record....I think chess.com is awesome and does an amazing job of being fair, efficient, of maintaining a high quality site, of enforcing cheating rules, and of being true to the spirit of the game. I can't think of anything I'd do to improve it.

I think that this poor guy just had a few bad days and lost a lot of rating points.  He was clearly frustrated and upset.  These things can happen to the best of us.

Of course. And I didn't mean to be unsympathetic. But I'm sure the people who run this site get a lot more criticism than praise, so I thought I'd try to balance that out a little and show some appreciation.

You think we care? We're here because we like chess.com, nobody's sitting here waiting for your opinion on the matter, hoping and praying that you don't leave. If I don't like Larry's Barber Shop, I don't spend my whole day there telling everyone about how I don't like it, I go to Jerry's Barber Shop.

Is Larry’s Barber Shop the one down on 17th? I don’t like his shop either, too expensive for me.

I utterly agree with you, pal. Every time I play, I find players using modules, it's so obvious! I'm getting tired of playing against cheaters and report them. Chess.com seems to do nothing at all. Is there a lack of personnel? What about the algorithms to detect unfair players? Where in the world are they?

The site takes cheating very seriously.
