crazy i may be, but i fell like your chess com rating changes too much after a win/loss. for example your bullet rating can change from 1200 to 1350 and then 1200 in 2 days. i think the K factor for time controls should be like this:

bullet:6

blitz:8

rapid:10

Fell free to disagree with me. happy.png

The site uses the Glicko rating system, though may change some of the associated variables. The determination of rating change is going to come down to each player's RD values.

Aha, if i understood right, your rating can skyrocket because of a confidence boost, right?

If the RD value increases, which can happen with longer gaps in playing games, the the rating is considered more uncertain, and will have a higher potential change.

Players that play a lot, will have low RD values.
