Oh,ok.Thanks!
Chess.com unfairly banned my old account

Second chance means you get your account back
For the second acc, just create another email adress and nobody suspects anything
Getting your account back means a successful appeal, or, in cases of sandbagging, sometimes they will reopen the account if you promise to stop.
Second chance account means a new account. Sometimes they will rename the old account by adding "-inactive" to the end so that your second chance account can have the same name as your original account, but it's still a new account.
you think they would allow me to have my old username if I just contacted support and asked or only in certain cases or smth

Did you clear this new account with cc, or just opened a new account?

Presumably you were sandbagging but were allowed back with this second chance account?
I personally think a player having a much lower rating than they really are so they can easily beat weaker players is unfair. Maybe it should be like lichess where everybody starts with the same rating but a question mark next to it, and I think even playing a few games against bots to fix a rating would be a good idea.
I think the same even about "speed run" accounts which are not allowed on lichess and shouldn't really be here. Maybe do the speed run against bots? I recall they had that once where you played gradually higher and higher level of bots, having to beat one before moving on to the next level and it was a contest a few streamers participated in?

there's a rule bro, the account which you are taking the name must be inactive for 3 years, so that they don't come back on accident, and you have their name.

That would be a question only the support team could answer.

they did lets go
They didn't unban you they allowed your new account to usurp the name.

That is true. @Honchkrowabcd-inactive is still banned.

I meant they let me have my old username back, which is what I asked in my last message I probably should have replied to it

Hi guys I just hit 2400 ELO for after a few weeks of grinding this "Chess.com" thing! I wanted to share the top 10 tips I used to get to 2400 ELO so you guys can also get there because some people are not 2400 ELO!
Tip #1: Double check your moves. Make sure your move doesn't accidentally leave one of your pieces undefended, and see if your opponent has a very strong response to your move before actually playing it! If your opponent has a very strong response to your move, maybe consider another move.
Tip #2: Put your pieces on good squares. Good squares = the piece controls a lot of squares, makes a lot of threats, prevents your opponents from moving there, and works together with other pieces. If you place all your pieces on good squares, they will be worth more, and work better together so the game will be much easier for you!
Tip #3: Learn Fools Mate! If you learn the Fools Mate (Google Fools Mate) you will have an advantage over your opponent who likely does not know the Fools Mate or will not be as familiar with it and you can play it to surprise them.
