Cleanup of clubs without members?

It looks like Chess.com does not remove clubs without members. Here are a few examples of clubs with zero members (not even an admin):

It shouldn't be difficult for Chess.com to find those "zombie clubs" and delete them.

You could actually join, take over them and disable them

No wait that's not possible since I'm not an admin

Empty clubs don't cause any issues. That said, they're not truly empty, it's just that all members accounts are closed

Ppl do that for the awards, only.

The problem is that these zombie clubs take club names which could be taken if they were removed.

If that's an issue, contact Support and request the closed club name

Ah okay I didn't know that was possible

They're not causing issues but they don't serve any purpose?

The clubs without members are probably just a subset of the many clubs that are dormant, many of which still have members ...

Yes, Im probably late to this but I get what you mean by that, usually people who close their account never close their own club, All of the clubs that are ghost towns are piling up, this could be a big issue for people who want members in their club.
