Phew, after 4 days of trying (I’m a newbie), I have managed to secure a win using black. For me, an aggressive move of knights helped to secure a victory
p.s. dunno how to rotate a picture....sorry

That's impressive for a "newbie".
I typically go with the london system with Nelson, he's very queen happy. in order to stop him I start off (as white) with 4, nelson will usually reply with e6, bf4, and
Me as white: d4, nelson will usually reply with e6, I'll play bishop f4, Will immediately play queen h4, I'll reply with knight f3 threatening to take the queen. Nelson will (in most cases) take my bishop on f4, and I'll reply with queen d2 for the exchange of queens. If Nelson take your queen, reply with knight d2, and now you should have an easier game. try it out and let me know your luck. I have had some luck with black but the main goal against Nelson is take out his queen, if you can achieve that, and have a good mid and end game, you're golden.
I can not beat nelson consistently. Studying openings and all lol his queen picks me apart. I usually start off okay when I'm really focused but there's always something I didn't plan for and he exploits it.
Nelson is so so tough for me. Like many have said on this thread, I can beat him in the end game if I just beat him down with trades until we barely have any pieces left. Then eventually he can be out maneuvered fairly easily and I can get a pawn promoted. It ain't pretty, but it is the only way I can best him.
EZ DUB COM UR ALL BOTS PR CHECK EARNING CHECK???
I BEAT NELSON IN MY SLEEP
I BOX HIS KING LIKE A FISHY
HE IS NOOB
CLAPS FOR JWAHZ
I'm playing 'seriously' for the first time and I beat Sven once then got 2 scrappy draws against Nelson. But now I go back to Sven and get whacked. Guess I don't know enough theory or have the strategies to be consistent. Really frustrating though.
I’ve tried beating Nelson at least 50 times. Sometimes you just gotta know when you’re smart enough or not. I’m not. Very upsetting and depressing.

Hey! With all due respect, you're definitely smart enough. Practice your puzzles, watch some YouTube videos. Play a lot. Try and relax and have fun. You'll get him eventually. You've got this!
Wherever you're stuck, it sucks. I don't remember Nelson being all that hard, but the 1500 bots are killing me. I beat the first one, and that's it. The frustrating thing of course is all the blown opportunities unveiled when you analyze the game...sigh.
I agree Nelson is such a pain to beat for his rating and im rated 1700+ for rapid, blitz and bullet. My strategy usually revolves ard attacking his queen while developing my minor pieces thus gaining a tempo. Another strategy is to learn lines where you can trap the queen since he likes to play aggressively with his queen while neglecting his piece development. It's true he's weaker without his queen and his end game is subpar. Hope this helps.
I've played Nelson 4 times now. I beat him twice as white and lost to him twice as black. I don't know why I find him so much tougher to beat when he plays white.
I am a noob to chess. I have enough raw ability to beat Sven easily and initially had trouble with Santa and Beth 9 (both rated 1200). I think the difference is at 1200 and 1300 bots that queen starts coming out before you can blink. The 1200 players are not as skillful as Nelson. I could not beat Nelson and eventually got to where I could win maybe 1 in 4 or so but no better. I felt like this. So what did I do? I actually studied openings (sigh, chess takes work). Like the site says, Nelson loves to attack early and often with the Queen. Whereas before I was trading queens and having to play well to win, now I can more often take the Queen and have a big advantage early. Study the Greco defense. There are others like Scandinavian defense. You’d be surprised how often Nelson makes mistakes. You just have to learn how to react to these sudden Queen and/or bishop attacks. Here is a game I just played against the Greco defense. I am white. Nelson is black.

Not a work of art, but it does not have to be if he goes down a Queen early. This is a good point to start Learning openings. You need this against any aggressive player. The better bots probably just take their time and torture you...
This defense, unnamed as far as I know, is brutal. It has taken me forever to learn how to deal with. Nelson on black has a significant material advantage, but at least it is playable and he is down his two most deadly pieces. Would appreciate if there is ANY better way to play this. Nelson is brutal with his Queen attacks.
Edit: oops, white has the advantage. The screen confused me. White is up two, not black. This must be the best way to play. Sorry for any confusion. I went on to win this game with blunders and mistakes. I thought I was losing all along, lol. Once again, take the queen and bishops away from Nelson.
ive actually been trying to do the queen to queen more, but yeah he is still hard to beat
