Constant disconnecting and reconnecting

I have been playing here a long time, but for the last few weeks I have been disconnected and connecting repeatedly in the same game, as has my opponents. I just had a game where I got disconnected and could not connect again.
This is specific to any variants....it feels like the instability is just on the variants server, as this doesn't happen in traditional blitz games.
However, this has been happening daily, and consistently, and for multiple weeks that I felt it was worth mentioning. Is this an issue that is known and in investigation?
