This basically can be done in every puzzle. Isn't this look like bug since this makes the whole puzzle rank system meaningless?
This is probably the way how certain players has reached 65540 puzzle rank points...

This has been reported before and I've never been able to recreate it. Hints always count the puzzle as wrong.
As to the high ratings, that's not how they're getting it
It is happening for me now. I just noticed it the past couple of days. I admit I am having great fun with it pranking my grandson as we compete to have the highest puzzle rating. :)

@Martin_stahl, It is still the case, I am afraid. I avoid using it even if it is tempting. After 5000, no more badges.
A woman with best daily comment has 12 000, without tricks, she is very good.
Puzzles are repeating so if you play a lot... I am now legend puzzle solving and after it restarts...

I'm on 4.6.8 but hadn't been able to get it to happen on previous versions either.

It happens also to my local friend here similar way with her android phone's chess.com application and we have not done anything special.
We both have started to play puzzles actively in chess.com about 1+ month ago so we have pretty fresh accounts if that matters in this case. We both have premium accounts, I have platinum and she has gold.
It is no brainer to get puzzle rank points up with android app when using hints since there is no penalty by using hints. In Browser usage of hint results negative points as result so this is totally opposite behavior in mobile app.
