Caveat: Some commenters believe this post is satire. This post is not satire, because the author having to say something is satire takes away from the satirical nature of the satire. Kiddies, if you don’t know the word “satire,” look it up in the dictionary. It’s somewhere between the m and the w. Compare the definition to this post and you will plainly see that any satirical leanings are merely mirages and nothing more. There is no satire here, no satire there, no satire anywhere. Shoelaces are designed to be shorter than newborns. The minimum age to read an offensive post on a chess website like #169 is past newborn. Just downvote and teach him how to count.
Kids shouldn't be banned for playing chess, so long as they follow the community policy and rules of the site.
But... as for the social side of the site, it should be better moderated and less geared towards young kids. Maybe my judgment is clouded because I mostly only post on off-topic, but these forums seem to be drastically declining with time because of younger kids needing a social outlet.
