Yes, server lag is awfull now. I stopped playing lives games here, and i "have moved" to another site. I dont know why you are saying lichess is same or worse, it works perfectly for me so far.

What the hell is going on? I have now insane lag / time disappearing off the clock after the new interface.
I have tested games where I am only keeping my eye on the clock. Even when its my opponent's turn, suddenly I lose 10 seconds on the clock ??? This is happening to my opponents as well.

They dont want us here anymore 
This really sticks in my craw.. I have lost several games becuz of this. I can't trust the clock at all. My opponent takes longer to move and I get penalize when I clearly see that his clock is running. This is getting me upset, I don't know who or what to blame. Oh well, I will blame me for thinking the program works as expected.. .

Well, I blame chess.com, coz it's used to be okay, and I didn't change a thing, and other sites works perfectly well, at least for me.
Yes, I’ve lost my last 2 games in the same way. I make my turn , the clock stops and eventually I lose on timeout.

Same problem... middle of game and the clocks freezes... I end up with loss
This is ridiculous, I lose so many games just because the clock freezes. So frustrating

Same here. Lost a few games through “abandonment”, when I moved swiftly and with plenty of time on the clock. In another case, I had 17:10 on the clock when I moved. Lag, lag, lag. Next thing I know it’s showing 9:06. Losing loadsa games and points because of this. Happens every 2 or 3 games at the moment.
I'm getting crazy about the lagging, my rating decreased over 300 points now. How to stop this bullshit? Delete the game ???
Lost just 2 games now because of this. What up???

please, dont blame the dam site, its your computer what seems like fast isnt fast, i still lag while running regular unlaggy programs too even with a proffessional 5g gaming router right next to me with like 8 ports

That's why you have to stop once you lose multiple games because of lag and return later. Unless you just want to play and don't care about the unfair score decline. But even then it's not really playing, just an uphill run when everyone else gets a bicycle in the opposite direction.

thats a browser glitch, the browser or router or something FAILS to send the signal, though the site did have this glitch it is mostly PATCHED

Is anyone else finding the lag causing serious problems? I've lost 4 or 5 games lately on time when i have moved with 5-10 seconds on the clock, then my opponent runs out of time and then I loose on time with my move "not reaching the server". I've noticed the lag on other moves but obviously its not so devastating.
I'm on a reliable and steady highspeed connection and its only chess.com I'm getting this lag on.
