Glitch with the MrBeast bot

I'm in Chess.com and my name is helVizoded. I do chess elective and when I found Mr. Beast bot I showed my friends and they were going crazy.

Pretty sure I played against that cyber clown a couple times. He sets the board up sideways (so you have dark corner on the right, and K & Q sides are reversed ). He alluded to this in the chat, iirc, along with lots of dopey comments. The whole session - 2 games maybe - was super glitchy and lagging like a mf. Practically unplayable. To be fair this was very possibly the day there was some kind of server malfunction, which I heard mention of in the forum a few days later. But even ignoring the tech issues, he's the most annoying bot I've yet encountered..... I highly recommend not bothering with him.

So I saw the behavior described in this thread, but it also flipped the results on me when I went to do a game review??

The first game I stalemated going for a silly bishop knight mate attempt. The second game I destroyed him, but when I go to do the game review it flips the result??

Some other differences I just noticed from a streamer playing the game. They don't have the forced green and white color scheme. Their board looks normal. And they say they don't have a rematch button.

It also flipped it when he checkmated me. As his comment already foreshadows.

Just closed fully out of the session instead of doing the rematch, and now it all works correctly, but only starting with this game.

Guess it was just a temporary weird bug, because I drew the first game... Note there is no "Rematch" option now. Edit: The rematch button showed up later, when I closed out of that window.

So.... The ideas behind this bot are, let's see; he's meant to be some kind of airhead I guess, so have him set the board up wrong, switch sides randomly, confuse the game results, sound generally confused in chat, acknowledge a win as a loss and possibly vise-versa. Then take these "features" as well as board colors and other operational indicating features and controls and have them toggle off or on again randomly....and I probably even missed an item or two.

Wow. Sounds like tons of fun. Lemme at 'im....Happy happy joy joy. 😐 I might even re-schedule that root canal I was looking forward to and play 'Mr. Beast' instead.

Sounds about right. Please don't die from tooth pain though.
