Horrible arena pairing

Sort:
Sack_o_Potatoes

In arenas i literally have to risk sooo much rating because of the pairings, literally, everytime i am against 1000s and i dont even gain rating from them and whenever there is a person close to my rating i never play them, so i literally just have to risk 50 rating every arena because i am always against 800s. sooo annoying, its just impossoble to gain rating in arenas, pls fix this issue

would you rather wait three times the amount to find a game with your own rating?

or: get good and win all your games, since you're way better than the 800s

im 1800

wheepes

if u keep playing with 800s you will become worser because you will feel no pressure you would feel when playing against the 1800s

well u can actually. its just u keep losing to 800s and lose much rating at once

so if u want to prevent that, u just need to win all and you will gradually increase.

If you are playing in larger events with a lot of players, most of your pairings should be closer to your rating. If there aren't many players, the system can only chose from what's available.

It's also possible that there's only lower rated player available when it's ready to pair you, rather than making you and the other player wait too long for a more compatible pairing, you'll play the available player.
