You see the chat but cant type there OR you dont see the chat?

I don't see the chat.
The chat is now on a separate tab
Chat is on a separate tab? What tab? Where? I like to axchange a greeting after a game, or maybe say 'thank you' if the opponent resigns, or 'well played' if I lose a close game. Don't seem able to do any of this now. What's happened?

In the Play interface, when you're on a game, one of the tabs at the top is Chat
I can no longer send messages in games, has something changed? I am banned, I can still play.
