I know! People used to say that puzzles were too easy, so chess.com reworked the system. What do they do to thank chess.com? Complain, complain, complain!
I used to have a puzzle rating of 2400, and a regular ELO of 750.
I've now got a puzzle rating of 1600, and a regular rating of 830.
I know there isn't a 1:1 correlation, but the rating should represent your tactical ability, so the new system is for sure more accurate.
The only piece of negative feedback I've got is that they should update the historical scores so the graph continues as it nothing happened, rather than show a score that drops off a cliff. ...I think that's what most people are irritated about.
