Inaccuracy in the rules for "Chaturanga"

I found in this game of "Chaturanga" that baring the king doesn't result in an immediate win

However in the ancient game of Chaturanga baring the king enemy king, and stalemating the enemy king were both considered wins.

Also the variant is Shatranj as in Shatranj the kings are on the same file, while in Chaturanga the kings are on different files.

I agree. Chesscom should change the name to "Shatranj" and implement the stalemate and baring the king rules.

According to the wikipedia article for Chaturanga, the historical source quoted suggests a win for the stalemated player and not the one delivering the stalemate.
