is anyone working on the phone app?

i ask because it seems nothing has been done to fix issues for years, and it is still not user friendly.

today i had an alert for a game where it was my move. when i clicked on it and the app opened, here is what i saw:

• first was an ad asking me to upgrade to a premium membership. i x'd that out.
• next was a suggestion to start a game with someone i've played before. huh?
• below the game suggestion is a (random?) number of games i've finished that i need to wade through to get to the one where it is my move.
• as i scroll down, there is a pop-up to upgrade-again (i would consider that spamming). i x out of that.

near the bottom of the page is my game.

this should be the first thing we see when the app opens after clicking on the alert. it needs to be fixed.

of course, this is posted in site feedback, and this backward system has been in place for years, so i don't expect any real answers. just in case any staff member IS concerned (ha!) this was on ios.

The apps are being updated all the time but which app are you using?

No. At least not on any feedback whatsoever and it's been years from what I could find on Google. They're great on April fool's jokes though, the swiping jokes were marvelous! Time well spent all around! Ok this was my last raging. F- this.

4.3.8 might be available by now and I know 4.3.9 has been submitted but not sure how long it takes for Apple to approve.

Android is updated a lot.

My iPhone updated today to Chesscom app v4.3.8.

You can check and force an automatic update by opening the iOS App Store app and select your account PFP picture in the upper right corner, then scroll down the list of apps to see if the Chesscom app is offered for update.
