Is There a Way to Tell How Many Views a Forum Receives?

Is there a way to tell how many views a forum receives?  This way one can gauge the interest in their (or others') forums, not basing it on how many comments it receives, as that could be explained in other ways, such as how many friends one has, but rather on how many members at least take the time to read the forum (or at least a portion of it) regardless of whether or not they comment.

Such a feature might help one to decide if a forum is worth posting just based on past forum posting views history, such as whether or not to post a forum similar to a previous one posted, whether by oneself or someone else.

I find that every now and then I post what I think is an interesting forum which does not garner a lot of comments.  That does not overly concern me, but if very few are even viewing my forums then perhaps I am just wasting my time.  Yes a few might read the forum and gain something from it but I feel I have more to offer.happy.png

Perhaps I am mistaken but I believe such a feature used to exist.  I do see that the blogs show the amount of views as well as the amount of comments.

In V1 it definitely existed. I don't remember V2. We're currently in version 3. I don't know of any way to see the view count.

Strange that they would remove that feature.  You wouldn't think the V3 (or even V2) software would have difficulty tabulating and keeping count and it certainly wouldn't negatively affect the display by taking up a lot of space.  All the blogs list is a number next to an eye, it doesn't (and doesn't need to) say views.

Thanks for the reply.
