Issues with Latest Android Update

Ever since the latest update for the Android mobile version of the Chess.com app, I haven't been able to find a way to do the follow:

  • Play an offline game against another human (i.e. use the app as a regular chessboard)
  • Play against the computer using a custom board setup

Both of these features were available previously, and to my knowledge they continue to be available on the iPhone version (at least at the time of this posting). I've found them very useful for following and practicing examples from chess books. Is there still a way to do these things on the Android app?

The play vs another person on the same device isn't available anymore. Custom positions against the computer are not available either.

Not sure if those are planned for a future update or not.

Thanks for confirming that those features have been removed. Fingers crossed that they'll return in the future.
