This is intentional. Chess dot com gets more money if you follow the ad.
Whenever a new ad pops up the screen automatically scrolls down to it, and u usually tap on the ad instead. This happens when you write forums also. Am using the website version on mobile. Also today I lost 16 rating points because my bullet chess games froze after move two
