Message Keeps Returning

I’m using the iPhone app. I have the same message in my inbox every day, and every day I archive it. I have tried everything I know to permanently delete it. Any information on how to permanently delete it?

That sounds frustrating, especially when you've already tried archiving it multiple times.

If the message keeps coming back after being archived, it’s likely tied to a system-generated message (like a club invite, friend request, or auto-generated reminder). Sometimes these can get 'stuck' in the inbox if they weren’t properly cleared by the system on the app side.

You could try:

1. Logging into Chess.com via desktop browser, go to Messages > Inbox, and try deleting it there directly.
2. If that doesn’t work, I recommend messaging:
🔗> Submit a Request

Let them know what the message says and that it keeps reappearing; they should be able to help clear it on the backend.
