New Feature Suggestion

As far as I know, there is no option to play a chess game on Chess.com with no time limit. Lichess does actually have this feature; it will save games in play until one side wins, draws, or resigns. I think this would make an excellent addition to Chess.com, as people would be able to play without worrying about time constraints, and if they have to abandon the game in a hurry, they can pick it up later at any time without being forced to either agree to a draw, resign, or disconnect and lose the game for abandonment. You can indeed set absurdly long time controls like 2 hours, or play a game which allows 2 weeks per move, but I think the ability to play without time pressure entirely is a small psychological relief and can make the game more fun. You can play the game in 5 minutes or 5 years. On times when both players are online, they can finish a game more quickly after one of them was either forced to go offline or went offline of their own volition for one reason or another. It also allows you to have a friendly chat with your opponent without worrying about the time it will cost and think for as long as you need to ensure you play a good move.

For anyone who didn't read that, I just want the option to play a game without time controls.

And without them leaving

And abandoning the game

They can still end a game because of stalling.

I suppose they can indeed permanently abandon a game, but by that point, the other player will either have probably moved on to another game or ended the game themselves via either a resignation or by flagging the game.
