Is there a way to set up puzzles to find how to get into a position? Most puzzle are to find mate, take advantage of mistakes, ect.

But what about a puzzle to set up a position to be better, but without the previously mentioned, it’s to set up games to get into better positions. Its hard for me to explain what I am thinking
