Openings Trainer

I think an Openings Trainer would be a great addition to Chess.com. I have seen how it works on a competitors site and I would like to see it implemented here. You simple go to the Openings Trainer and using the opening explorer you play out whatever opening you want to learn on the board and save it to your opening repertoire list. You can create as many openings that you want to study and what the trainer does is make the opponent moves and you have to play your moves correctly. I really think the members would like having one.

Is the Opening trainer ready here on chess.com?

I'd also like to know.

Me too. This is so obviously useful. Some parts of chess.com are very well designed, such as those for playing games, and seeing openings and previously played games with those openings. Others are not, such as the instructional videos, which seem like a random collection of whatever someone wanted to post. An opening trainer seems like such as obvious addition. Also, a well organized set of videos for every opening and endgame, done by the same person. Especially if these were reasonably extensive. Dereque Kelley has some on youtube that could serve as an example. To have a 100 of these by the same person with a consistent style, maybe even by him, would be great.

Is there an update on the opening trainer on chess.com?

It would be awesome.
