Considering it's against the rules to call for bans I don't see why the admins don't just agree and comply with the OPs request. The thread in question calls for players to be banned. That's against the forum rules. The mods enforce the rule in other contexts, why not here? Well, because the mods here are extremely lackluster in terms of consistency and thinking ability / are not even paid, that's the actual reason.

He's not serious abput banning those threads. He said that the title of the thread is satire, and just a way to call those people who make similar threads to this.

He was referring to honchs thread I think.

Correct. That's the thread where bans of players are called for, not this one. This thread is just calling for mods to enforce the rules - no calling for bans of players. Enforce the rules and close that dumpster fire of a thread - where the OP also hurls abusive insults at a very large portion of the C.C player base, alot of which are young / inexperienced people. But as we all know very well the C.C mods have no principles or consistency. The C.C mods lack both personal integrity and a basic critical thinking ability.

That's the only explanation as to why an abusive troll thread that blatantly violates the forum rules remains open while often completely harmless threads are closed within minutes for allegedly violating some small technicality in the rules.

I also have a problem to pick upon: The Chess.com Terms OF service states that forum comments, when they get enough downvotes, are greyed out and then removed. Honch's post in a similar foum has now garnered like 120 downvotes, but it is still neither greyed out, nor removed.

It is kinda funny and kinda disappointing how that thread is simply against c.c rules, and yet it remains up. Not very consistent moderation for sure.

Bump, Signed, and totally agreed.

The ragebait from high elos proves exactly the opposite point that they try to make: Elo doesn't correlate at all to maturity. Higher intelligence people may have an advantage when starting to learn chess, but that is the starting line and where you actually go depends on your practice. Maturity and intelligence aren't even the same thing. Plenty of intelligent people are immature (cough cough). I'm really not sure why downvoted posts aren't getting removed. Ragebait may drive ad revenue, but more likely its just a bug.
