Except club recruitment messages and links are not supposed to be posted in the forums, in other member's topics, in notes, chat or private messages. Doing so can get an account flagged for spamming.

This forum is useless
Anybody with two eyeballs, or even one, can just look at the URL and see /join and not click on the link
If I am correct /join is used for the invites, so of they get rid of that, they get rid of the links, invites go bye bye
It's really easy to avoid it, just look if there is a /join at the end of the link

And how many people are active? If they can't leave then any normal human would just ignore the club

Well they should
Chess.com shouldn't delete the /join link just because people are to lazy to look at a URL
