There is an option when you report to choose "Other" and give more details. I am not sure how often this is applied to Four Player Chess.

That's an option, but the actual chat is lost when using it, so it has little value. I think you should be able to report a chat in such a way that the chat content is logged with the report.

Hi! You can report such instances within the 4PC/Variants app. Just click on the offending player's profile, then on the exclamation point ("report) and select the relevant reason in the following pop-up.
Yeah I know, but I was told the chat itself is lost so basically everything I report there is nothing more than an accusation.

That is provably not true. Apparently the reporting option for multiplayer games has gotten some attention. A few months ago I tried to report and never saw the option to do that from within the 4PC context. And this has improved a lot, including preserving the chat as @ stated before.
Especially for 4 player games. Otherwise unsporty behaviour like this will continue to be there forever. This screenshot is from game # 88083813.
