You don't need to report the spam posts. Those are usually quite obvious. Moderators go in many times every day to mute the spammers and remove the spam.
I don't think that many linger for a long time. Occasionally, some will slip through.
I think that the voluteer moderators do a pretty good job of removing that kind of spam.
A major problem is that the spam doesn't come on a regular schedule. Sometimes we get 50 in an hour. Sometimes there are none in a day.
The volunteer moderators do appreciate your help to flag other problems. I am sure that the staff does too.
There are NUMEROUS paid members at this site. NUMEROUS! You rake in money like there is no tomorrow! Pay your admins enough to actually do their job! You get enough money to where there should be at least one admin (multiple during the daytime in the states) actively monitoring and removing spam. Every day there are lingering advertisements for weight loss and girls and whatever other junk, and they are sitting there for 6, 12, even 24 hours. It should NOT BE OUR JOB AS PAYING MEMBERS to repeatedly need to report this BS! Yes, you cannot read every individual message and be expected to catch all issues, like personal attacks or attacks on protects groups, like race, religion, etc. But just at the category levels in the forums, these spam ads, predominantly by users from India though maybe not exclusively, ARE OBVIOUS! One admin at all times should be on SPAM DUTY! Have six 4-hour spam duty shifts per day. Shawn, you are on spam duty from 8 to 12 today EDT.
It is absolutely ridiculous that us paying members have to report the obvious to you guys. Reporting should be for isolated cases buried that are not obvious, like "Hey, such and such a user is making racist comments (posts 96 and 103) in the blah blah blah thread."
Tired of having to report every individual spam ad for weight loss or whatever the bleep else! We pay you! Do your job!
