Absurdly expensive. They could at least give you 50 or 100 puzzles even if not unlimited. You'd still be getting your fair share but not completely lose the ones on missed days. Every day you don't do puzzles should keep piling up until you do. Same 5 a day amount. Same thing should be done for game accuracy scores if you haven't played in a while. Perfectly fair.

Free memberships only get 5 puzzles a day. But I think if you go, say, a week without doing puzzles, you should be able to do 35 of them, making up for the days you didn't do them. That way people can do alot of puzzles when they feel like it and skip days they don't, even though the maximum total number that could done in that time would be the same.
