responding to a challenge via the Mobile app

I recieved a challenge notification, but when I went into the app, I could not find the challenge to accept it and start the game. this was on the mobile app. how do I accept a challenge on the app?

When I get a challenge notification on the app there's always a tick and a cross right next to the notification. Just touch the tick to accept or the cross to decline.
