The Gmail account associated with my in person chess club's Chess.com page also recently got a few emails regarding puzzles, including one which stated something to the effect that Danny Rensch has not solved a puzzle in several months, presumably insinuating that if the recipient solves just one they are stronger than an International Master.
Ridiculous Message from chess.com

Yes, I got that one, too: "Danny doesn't know we are sending this email. ." That one, right?
Right!

The messages are coming directly from Chess.com.🙂
Today, after doing at least 40 rated puzzles (I lost count) I get a message on the app saying, "A puzzle a day keeps the blunders away" and urges me to do a puzzle now!
What do they think I've been doing all afternoon?🙄
*Snip*
Ok but please remember to do your puzzles.

I'd like a real response from someone like @Martin_Stahl.
Begging your pardon, Joankia, but you seem to be a beginner - you joined today! - anxious to lecture without first truly reading the post. As @BryanCFB says, these are ads coming directly from Chess.com that circumvent our preference settings.

Every time there's an upgrade, I get these messages, usually urging me to do a puzzle. If this is coaching it's sadly misplaced. Go look at my profile and see how many puzzles I've done.
PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO ADJUST MY SETTINGS! I have done so. There are some messages I want to get. There are no adjustments that allow what I want while keeping these out.
Further, they arrive differently each time. Email, app message, etc. It always happens right after an upgrade.
Yes, I can ignore them. My point to the staff is that they shouldn't be happening at all. I should be able to block them in Settings and have the block actually work.
