Problem still occurring today 5 April 2021.
Logged in this morning and the settings were set to what I had set the day before but then I played one game then did one lesson then rechecked my settings and the outgoing setting had once again been changed to +- infinity.
I then logged out and logged back in. Sure enough the outgoing settings were still +- infinity. I have never changed them!! So chess.com seems to change these settings while the session is in progress without any user input or request!!
It just seems weirdly anomalous that a site that contains brilliant programming - I don’t think it’s too much praise to say their chess analysis engine is amazing - seems to reset user preferences randomly without them asking.
I always have both incoming and outgoing ranges set to +-50 but recently (the last 2 or 3 days) it is consistently being changed to have an outgoing range set to +- infinity. This is very annoying as I don't find it useful or interesting to play players much better or much worse than me - so of course I get warned for aborting these games - even though I am not responsible for reverting these ratings ranges.
So just wondering if anyone else has had this or similar (saved settings not remaining persistent) things happening in the last couple of days?
