Start of game animation

Since this week I see a new animation at the start of a game where the colour of the board changes and the names of both players appear over the board. This does not appear every game which is confusing and leads to time loss. Also at the end of some games the board colours change.
For me this is unnecessary window dressing that annoys me instead of adding to the experience of playing. Especially in bullet games where this leads to losing of valuable seconds in the beginning of the game.
Will this be fixed? Or is there a setting to turn this off?

It’s supposed to be a cool intro, but yes the main problem is it takes time off white.
