Costs money. You'd have to pay the master player to play 3 games.

It does cost, and I don't think having different players for each of the games makes it cheaper.

Instead of paying one player 3x, you're paying 3 different masters. What they should do is bring back the member vs member open vote chess games like they used to have. Anyone who wants to play can and chess.com splits the two teams so they have an approximate average rating. Also, once a scheduled vote chess game has started, all entries are locked. One of the main problems are recurring trolls who get booted and re-register under a different username. With this plan, if you get kicked out of the game, you can't come back because entries are locked. The issue with these games is not the ratings of the players, but the attitudes of the players. Endless rating shaming (usually by players who have no business doing so), constantly spamming stupid, childish cartoons over and over again and one stupid troll who kept spamming racial slurs are the reasons nobody reads the chat, it just gets tiring.

Wow this is a brilliant idea.

I just had an idea, what if there was one team captain (possibly a titled player working for chess.com) who selected 4 moves to vote between, that person cannot pick 3 obviously bad moves and one good move, but would pick what they think to be the 4 best moves in the position, this would help avoid bad moves in The openings and could be useful but would not make the team captain a dictator

Thankyou for your idea. It would definitely improve the current system. The GMs are not being challenged by the current system. The resulting games are awful.
