tap-to-move issues android tablet

Hi chess.com, i bought a samsung-tablet today and obviously installed the chess.com app the very same day. The problem i am facing during my games on this device is that the tap-to-move functionality doesnt work in a consistent manner. I hear an error-sound sometimes, and sometimes it simply doesn’t respond, other times it does. I first thought that it was a hardware problem but i notided that all apps and sites are working decently except for the chess.com app. Also tried to play in browser and that works perfectly fine. I never had this problem on my iphone so it’s the first time im running into this. Anyone familiar with this issue? I asked chat gpt, but that sends me to settings that do not exist. Hoping someone knows how to fix it🤞🏻
