The Bot Loses Yet Still Wins?

Hi chess.com,

I noticed what appears to be random bug.  Note the below screenshot.  I played the David bot; I was black and he was white.  I defeated him, yet:

  • David is credited as the winner
  • David's material is +9 when the reverse is true
  • David reacts as if he's playing my moves, not the other way around

Basically, it looks like David thinks he's the black.  (When I lose a game, all of the above is reversed.)  Weird, right?

David Wins???

You are certain you are black?
You are on the bottom on the screen, messing you are white.
Weird.

Yes, I'm CERTAIN that I played as Black. I always play Black,

I get this with JanJay, she always thinks she won when she lost

Same problem here.

The last time it occured I played against Isla-BOT with white. But it happened with different bots and no matter if I played black or white, won or lost.

Same happened to me multiple times...

TheCosmic_Horizon

what;s the proof that you were black ?

Same, the bots give feedback for both players in the first person. Which is weird and also confusing, because I cannot always read the feedback when it appears. When I look, I am not sure if they are talking about their or my own moves.

I won from bot; bot: "I won - this time. Want to play again?" Why would the bot say that for me?

This bug has been bothering me for months now. How hard can it be to fix it, chess.com??! Mostly when I win, the review counts the bots blunders as mine. COme on!

LYYYYYYYYYYYN

never happened to me.

I’ve seen a few forums about that, but it’s never happened to me so idk what’s happening
