Fact #1 - Playing chess online exists in chess.com in the form of Live Chess

Fact #2 - Live Chess is Free!

Fact #3 - Doing Puzzle Races Online also Exists in chess.com in the form of Puzzle Battle

Fact #4 - Puzzle Battle is Locked behind a Paywall

....Do I even need to explain the blatant hypocrisy that's going on here. I mean these 4 facts combined already did just that in a quick summary form, but just in case, I will go into detail

Chess.com decided the service of Playing Chess Online should be FREE! By this logic, you would FULLY EXPECT them to also make Puzzle Battle FREE for the same reason!!! Especially given how well the Hans Neimann Biggest Cheating Scandal was handled, the LAST thing on anybody's mind was Chess.com as a company/business literally being giant hypocrites themselves!

Well, I guess this goes to show that Hypocrisy is just another common mistake any person or company can make at anytime. It's especially important that we call stuff like this out (which we already do very well). However, what some of us don't do well, is learning to let go once the guilty party has already admitted to the wrongdoing and is in the process of fixing the situation.

The site has puzzles limited for basic members and it makes sense to also limit puzzle battles as well. Head-to-head puzzle solving isn't the same as playing games.

So everything you want should be free, else it's no fair?

Running this site no doubt costs many tens of thousands of dollars a month, probably more. How would that be possible with no incentive for people to pay for it?
