The new puzzle display is so bad

Adding my voice to the complaints room. If there's one thing on this app I come to every single day, it's the puzzles. And I hated the update.I got through to a new level today and didn't even get the animation that comes with it. So disappointing.

The interface is bad, the points display on the bottom is bad, the coach is annoying, and it seems to deliver so less than the previous iteration. Let us at least toggle back to the previous one.

Whose idea was this? Please fire them. They are making bad decisions that will hurt your business.

As already mentioned, the new UI is very wrong for puzzle. Puzzle is the thing that I used the more in the app. I just want to see the board plus options for ranking. On the app I will appreciate to see more details (with a button) about each puzzle (as computer version)

It's a super annoying update. Wish they roll it back sooner

I'll come here and complain every day. This is very frustrating. The clicks feel bad, unresponsive. It used to be very organic. Some animations are sped up, I keep clicking the wrong places coz the layout is unintuitive, it's all for the worse

Yes, most members on iOS have the feature and it's been on Android for over a year now. Should be coming to the website at some point.

I like the new UI and gamification of the puzzles but I miss seeing the puzzle rating during the puzzle.

I've stopped playing puzzles. The UI is horrible on the app. The board is smaller and the instructor text is too big at the top of the screen

Agree. I can ignore the coach, but losing the actual score which goes both up and down to show you real progress is a pain. The score that goes up continuously is pointless. Whether it's 1000 or a gazillion, means nothing. But if I'm up at 2500 on the old rating, I know I've been doing good things.

There's a new iOS app update that has the coach removed for now.

This is one of the worst updates I’ve seen. It might be appealing to little kids, but I am an adult that enjoyed the old classic UI. I was in IT for 40 years and one of the first things I learned was “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” 
I was able to get rid of the coach one time and even got the old UI back, but the next day, it was back. And I couldn’t change it through the app, but had to login to the website. What a waste of time. Won’t renew my subscription.

Those interns really going to ruin everything lol

Back to say once more that this layout, and the coach, are terrible. Bring it back to how it was before, it was great. You're ruining a perfectly good app

I concur. Old version was better.

Everything is smaller now in the puzzle UI on the mobile app. Why would they decide to shrink everything for people using a phone?
