unanswered draw request should = aborted game

Hi,
I had a match where my opponent was taking forever to move, he was on 7:15 after only 2 moves, each time he didnt move until i offered a draw request, after a long wait for the third move i offered another draw request and just waited but he left it unanswered.
** SUGGESTION *** So that got me thinking that maybe we should be required to answer the draw request before the platform abandons the game, if left unanswered the platform will abort instead of deciding its abandon. I believe having the platform abort instead of abandon makes sense especially in this situation, but also if a draw request goes unanswered shouldnt that technically mean they abandon the game first by not answering and not the guy who is requesting the draw and waiting for an answer!!!

So I let time run out knowing it would abandon me but its better than waiting like this especially on the first few moves no reason to take that long, i mean if he was really thinking i wonder how long it would have taken him in the middle of the game when more thought is required.

I know draw request can be answered automatically by making a move after the request has been made, if this suggestion is implemented then this automatic draw request answer feature should probably be taken out because people often move just as the draw request has been made and didnt get time to REALLY answer it, i know there have been numerous times when i would have taken a draw if it wasnt answered automatically after i moved a piece right when the draw request popped.
