US state flags-why no option?

I feel like for sure the crew at chess.com should create and allow us Americans the option of having a state flag instead of the usual American flag.  For sure they are inconsistent.  They allow in other countries flags within a country, e.g Scotland, England, Catalonia, and even have a flag for Puerto Rico and Guam, US territoies-but no state flags!  They also have flags for countries which are not even on the map currently (Palestine).  Come on team,  if some nationalist from Catalonia gets to have their flag, what about us 'Murcans???

It's their site. They don't have to be consistent.

Every time this topic comes up, the discussions get nasty, which is why these topics get locked.

That would just be confusing. Here is an example: Georgia is a state in United States. Georgia is also a country. Plus many people dont know United States geography but know other countries.
Also people wouldnt know the state flag of all of them if they are outside of the United States

I am still waiting for the flag of Antarctica

As well as Olympic and Paralympic Games
